Plains, Montana · Est. Local Roaster
Small-batch roasted right here in Plains. Every pour is shaped by the hands that grew it, the fire that developed it, and the care we pour into your cup every single morning.
"The best cup you'll find this side of the river."
— A regular, since day one
Our Story
Lighthouse Coffee started with a simple conviction: the coffee in Plains deserves better than the same old blend behind the counter. So we started roasting our own — small batches, intentional profiles, beans we can actually name and trace back to the farm that grew them.
Everything in our case gets baked the night before, so when you walk in at 6 a.m., the croissants are warm and the pastries smell like they've always belonged here. Because they have.
Beans sourced directly from farms that practice sustainable, ethical growing.
Small batches roasted every morning so every cup hits its peak flavor.
Pastries, breads, and sweets made from scratch in our kitchen every evening.
A gathering place built for neighbors, regulars, and anyone who walks through the door.
The Experience
There's a reason people drive past two other towns to sit at our counter. It's not just the coffee — though the coffee is serious work — it's the feeling you get the moment you step inside. The hum of the grinder. The smell of bread. The person behind the bar who knows your order before you open your mouth.
Large windows on Railroad Ave fill the space with natural light. Perfect for working, reading, or just watching the town wake up.
Fast, reliable internet. Plenty of outlets. A quiet corner for remote work and a bustling center for catching up with friends.
Live music most Friday evenings. Local art on the walls. A space that belongs to everyone who walks through the door.
